Housing more than 72,000 works of art, the Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille is one of the largest art museums in France. Its collections were founded by works seized by the French Revolutionary armies, and include works by some of the greats including Tissot, Rembrandt, and Goya.

Built in the old district of Saint-Saveur after the First World War, the Belfry of Lille is not only the tallest civil belfry in Europe but also a UNESCO building. Its architecture is something to behold in and of itself, even if you don’t fancy making the ascent to take in sweeping views of the city.
Situated in the middle of an outstanding sculpture park, where you can browse works by Eugene Dodeigne and Jean Roulland, you will discover the LaM and its extensive collections of 20thand 21stcentury modern, contemporary and Brut art.
