La Dame Noir [VII]
The Bordeaux iteration of the French vogue for floating bars has a chilled vibe at the deck bar and a bone fide club space below, where the crowd party late.

Another fine example of eccentric Bordeaux bar culture. Enjoy conversations late into the night, fine cocktails and an appreciative international clientele.
Efficiently run large venue popular with a mixed, mainly younger, crowd. If the throb of the main rooms is too much for you, head for the lounge bar.
A must for hipsters of all ages. Its unusual interior walks a singular path and its cocktails are highly regarded by some of the most influential bar critics.
A particularly good choice for entertaining in this business area: its wine bar is a favoured spot of the local professional set. Really top drawer.
Calle Ocho is three floors of Cuban-inspired rhythms, raves and full-on fiesta. One of the liveliest spots in town, Calle Ocho serves up delicious (and very reasonably priced) cocktails, and Latin and Caribbean tunes, and the whole crowd gets going early, and dances late into the night. As you’d expect from a bar filled with the spirit of Cuba Libre, the mojitos are a particularly good choice. Open Monday to Saturday 5pm to 2am.
