Winter Outings
Enjoy a brisk start to the day exploring the snow-shrouded environs of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Snowshoe through the Westcott Vineyards or enjoy a winter hike through the Thirty Bench estate – and perhaps enjoy a tasting while you’re there. The area also has a number of beautiful outdoor skating rinks, such as the one at historic Fort George, as well as locations at Maple Street Park and Mount Carmel Park. You can also rent a pair of skis and go cross-country skiing across immaculate trails throughout the area.

Couple’s Spa Day
Not a fan of outdoor adventures? The Niagara area is home to a plethora of spas offering a variety of relaxing and rejuvenating treatments. For instance, Healing Salt Cave specializes in Halotherapeutic treatments and therapies using pink salt all housed within a recreation of a Polish salt mine to provide the perfect, mineral-rich climate. Christienne Spa located in Fallsview Casino offers a refined spa experience with tranquil views of the American and Horseshoe Falls. Their treatments include facials, massages as well as a decadent Hydrotherapy Infinity Tub, the only one of its kind in Canada specifically meant for couples.
