Queer Lisboa 2020
Queer Lisboa is a ground-breaking festival in more than a few ways. It is not only the first (and only) Portuguese film festival dealing solely with LGBTQ productions, but also Lisbon’s oldest film festival of any kind and one of the most significant LGBTQ festivals in Europe. Queer Lisboa boasts a wonderful selection of the best of Portuguese and international LGBTQ cinema, alongside a huge series of workshops, events, talks, performances, and parties. Decidedly non-mainstream, but an extraordinary, important, and, for many people, rare look into a wonderful area of cinema and film. With well over 100 films on offer, this is a great opportunity to see some unusual and amazing work.
