Badisch Brauhaus
Far bigger than it appears on the outside, the Badisch Brauhaus is one of Karlsruhe’s youngest breweries, and is an excellent addition to an already sublime scene. Brewing its own light, dark and seasonal beers, and serving them up to thirsty customers over 4 floors and a great beer garden, the Brauhaus packs a real punch. With a cocktail bar and a restaurant, this is a superb spot even if you aren’t a beer fanatic! Open Monday to Thursday 11:30am to 12am, Saturday 11:30am to 1am, and Sunday 11am to 12am.
Monk Bar
Named in honour of jazz pianist Thelonious Monk, Monk Bar brings a touch of class to a big night out. A cosy yet effortlessly cool space with plenty of lounge areas and a decent size dancefloor, Monk Bar serves up soul, funk, disco and house, alongside live acts and big-name DJs. With unique design touches and a lovely ambiance, this is a superb place to get together, have a drink and dance the night away. Open Mondays and Thursdays 9pm to 1am, and Fridays and Saturdays 9pm to 4am.
Cantina Majolika
Housed in the former plaster works of the Majolika cement company, this renovated and restored bistro, bar and restaurant is a mouthwatering delight. The restaurant serves up high quality regional international cuisine alongside a fine wine list, while the bar slings out delicious cocktails. The Mediterranean-style terrace and outdoor bar complements the place perfectly, and is the ideal spot for a few pre-dinner drinks. Open Tuesday to Friday 12pm to 2pm and 6pm to 12am, Saturday 6pm to 12am, and Sunday 11am to 4pm.
