The Best Things to do at Canada’s Wonderland
*This travel guide was written in partnership with Cedar Fair
The largest amusement park in the country, Canada’s Wonderland has delighted millions of visitors since first opening its doors in 1981. With more than 200 attractions including Splash Works water park and the Leviathan, the tallest roller coaster in Canada, there are plenty of things to do at Canada’s Wonderland for the whole family.

The Best Rides at Canada’s Wonderland
Wonderland features 17 rollercoasters, including some of the tallest and fastest rides in the country. At 93m high, the Leviathan lives up to its name as it slithers through dizzying heights and dazzling drops with the unsettling smoothness of a serpent’s tail. The tallest roller coaster in Canada, Leviathan stands a full 23m taller over the previous record holder, the Behemoth, also housed at Canada’s Wonderland.
Noted for its lack of upper-body restraints, true daredevils will delight in Behemoth’s breakneck speeds, reaching 125km per hour in less than four seconds.
Featuring a mind-boggling 360-degree loop, Yukon Striker is the tallest, longest and fastest dive coaster in the world with a 90-degree drop that descends into an underground portion that propels you further into the unheard of 360-degree loop.

Things to do at Canada’s Wonderland with Young Children
Visitors with children who aren’t quite ready for roller coasters can visit the park’s two children’s areas where they can meet Snoopy and the Peanuts gang and go on kiddy rides themed after Charles M. Schulz iconic comic strip. For instance, they can hop on a biplane and fly along on Snoopy vs. The Red Baron or hit the water on Lucy’s Tugboat.
