Back in the day a fritolin was a small, casual restaurant that served up fried fish in paper cones. So while Vecio Fritolin takes a more sophisticated approach to dining, it still retains the rustic charm of Venice’s past. The seafood is sourced fresh from the Rialto Market, and the dishes on offer reflect the typical tastes of the region. Stop by and enjoy the fixed-menu lunch, for €35 including wine. Open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch 12pm to 2.30pm, then dinner from 7pm to 10.30pm. Closed Mondays, and Tuesdays open for dinner only.
