One of the oldest restaurants in Venice, Cantina Do Spade has done a roaring trade since the mid 1400s. The menu focuses on local produce, so expect a lot of seafood and fresh veggies. What’s more, it’s conveniently right near the Rialto Bridge but has pretty reasonable prices for the location. Be sure to try the stuffed squid, or order a bunch of different small plates (cicchetti) if you’re feeling indecisive. Open daily for lunch 10am to 3pm, then dinner from 6pm to 10pm. Tuesday is dinner only.
