This event is sort of Venice’s answer to a fun run. While it’s a local event for the city’s residents, it’s also a fun way for tourists to explore Venice without any fear of getting lost. Su E Zo Per I Ponti a non-competitive walking event, where everyone follows the same route that weaves through the city. It starts near the Doge’s Palace in St Mark’s Square and follows canals, going over bridges and through local neighbourhoods. The route is dotted with live music stages and refreshment points, and is such a fun vibe that you won’t even notice you’ve walked 12km!
