A true piece of history, Ruszwurm has been in operation since 1827, and is a little slice of Baroque excellence. Empress Sisi sent couriers here to collect cakes for her breakfast, and the owner learned to make the famous Linzer biscuits while he was imprisoned after the 1848/49 Revolution. These days it is a snug, cosy place serving up traditional Hungarian goodies to local customers, tourists, and possibly still the odd Empress every now and again! Open daily 10am to 6pm.
