An exceedingly cute spot near the main square of Gotha, Pagenhaus has all the ingredients necessary for a wonderful evening out. The setting is breathtaking, in the shadow of the imposing castle. Inside, the decor is kitsch, but charming, and the traditional Thuringian menu never disappoints. All in all, this excellent restaurant is one of the high points of Gotha’s dining scene. Open Tuesday to Saturday 12pm to 10pm, and Sunday 12pm to 5pm.
