Most towns and cities in Europe have a farmer’s market, but Ostrava’s is worth a special mention. As well as super-fresh fruits and veggies from farms surrounding the city, there are also stalls selling homemade baked goods, jams, flowers, and coffee. They try to keep the market trash-free, so if you’ve got a reusable tote bag or box you can take along, be sure to remember it! Open Saturday 8am to 12pm, but check the schedule if you’re there during winter.
