In the 16th century, Antwerp was a prime location for the printing revolution, a communication movement as important as the invention of the telephone or the birth of the internet. This wonderful museum was one of the most prolific publishing houses in the 16th and 17th centuries, and now offers a glimpse into the remarkable and controversial history of books and printing, as well as a set of delightful and perfectly preserved 16th century gardens. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.
