Mildura Eisteddfod 2020
The Mildura Eisteddfod has been running since 1979, and is a fantastic exploration and showcase for the performing arts in the area. Designed originally to develop and encourage young and emerging talent from Mildura, the festival now attracts some of the most exciting and talented singers, musicians, dancers and performers from throughout Victoria, and even from across Australia. Taking its inspiration from the Welsh festivals of the same name, the Eisteddfod is now 18 days of competitive performance, featuring around 1200 young, new and emerging artists. A real opportunity to see undiscovered artists and performers doing things that are a little bit different.

Held every July, the Mildura Writers' Festival is a sumptuous four-day celebration of words, food and wine, bringing together some of Australia's best writers in an intimate, winter program of workshops, lectures and discussion forums. The Mildura Show is a superb community-organised event primarily aimed at families and children, but with a little something for everyone thrown in.
