A genuinely family friendly bar too, with a whole section just for kids. There’s entertainment throughout the week, with quizzes and live music, and the Tavern really gets lively when the students are in town. Open Monday to Saturday from 10am to midnight, and Sunday 10am to 10pm.
Element Bar would be considered a winner in almost any city in the world. A quirky and alternative spot with a relaxed, cocktail bar vibe (and a superb cocktail menu), it also has a cracking craft beer selection, and hosts regular live music nights. It is, essentially, the perfect combination of elegant sophistication and a buzzing, lively night out. A great spot for either, or both. Open Sunday to Thursday from 12pm to 11pm, and Friday to Saturday 12pm to 2am.
C.EX Coffs, the Ex-Services Memorial and Sporting Club, is a jack of all trades, and frankly a master of most as well, for locals and tourists looking for a good time. This great leisure venue offers a brasserie restaurant, a steakhouse, a multitude of event spaces, free live music every Friday and Saturday night, as well as hosting huge acts in their exceptional concert hall. Whether you are after a good meal with a few glasses of wine, or a brilliant live concert, this is the place to be. Open Sunday to Tuesday from 10am to 10:30pm, Wednesday to Thursday 10am to 11pm, and Friday to Saturday 10am to midnight.
