Summer Beach Hopp 2020
Every year the Coffs Harbour beach takes a drive back through time, and comes alive with the swinging sounds of the sixties. The Summer Beach Hopp is a celebration of retro music, fashion and culture, with live bands, bops and dances, classic cars and hot rods. The show features cover bands playing classic 60s tunes, classic rock and roll DJs, vintage swing dancers, roller skate shows, Elvis impersonators and a whole lot more. This is a fantastic event for a good time jiving on the beach, to bask in the warm glow of nostalgia, or just to mellow out with some golden oldies.

Coffs Harbour Show 2020
The Coffs Harbour Show is one of the oldest and biggest events in the city’s social calendar. Running for over 100 years, it is a celebration of all things agricultural, of the local land traditions, and the way things have changed. These days traditional farm animals and produce like cows, sheep, poultry and bananas mix it with macadamia nuts, dragon fruit, and blueberries. The Coffs Harbour Show serves as a feeder to the Sydney Royal Easter Show, so competition during the eventing is fierce, and the entertainment programme that runs alongside the prizes and awards makes this a grand old day out with food, fun and frolics for all the family.

Orara Valley Fair 2020
The Orara Valley is a beautiful rural landscape home to rivers, rapids and swimming holes, just outside of Coffs Harbour. The Orara Valley Fair is a classic in the Country Fair tradition, a celebration of country life and traditions, in the beautiful setting of Orara’s riverside Reserve. The Fair is a feast of colour and laughter, featuring live entertainment all day, local produce and handicrafts, races, rides and exhibits, all on the banks of the gorgeous Orara River. The location alone is worth the trip, but the Fair is a genuinely lovely local expression of community, traditions and classic carnival fun.

Ocean Harvest Festival 2020
The Pacific Ocean is a huge part of every aspect of life in Coffs Harbour, and the Ocean Harvest Festival is a splendid celebration of the sea, and the incredible seafood industry that has driven the life and vibrancy of Coffs Harbour throughout its history. Located right on the sea in the marina, the Ocean Harvest Festival marks the start of the winter prawn season, and features an abundance of the most delicious fresh seafood, as well as industry demonstrations and prawn peeling competitions! Alongside the glorious marine goodies, the festival hosts live music, entertainment for the little ones, and a fully stocked craft beer and wine bar to wash down your prawns!

Woolgoolga CurryFest 2020
The unique and fascinating Punjabi heritage of Woolgoolga is identified immediately by the Sikh temple on the hill as you approach the town. The CurryFest is a celebration of the history and culture of this community, and an exploration of the fantastic cuisine of the Punjab. Since 2005 thousands of visitors have rocked up at this peaceful beachside town just a little way up the coast from Coffs Harbour, to appreciate Punjabi music and dancing and to taste curries from around the world. With over 180 food stalls, and cooking classes, Bollywood dance lessons, a meditation zone and a live entertainment stage, this is a massive expression of Punjabi culture, and a full-on taste sensation.

Blues and Berries 2020
The Blues and Berries Festival is one of the newest entrants to the Coffs Coast festival scene, starting up in 2017, but it has hit the ground running and is already one of the area’s most popular events. Just up the coast in the beach town of Woolgoolga, Blues and Berries is a day of blues and roots music, as well as a celebration of the local blueberry industry! The beachside stage plays host to some of the hottest blues and roots artists in New South Wales, while market stalls offer local produce alongside a blueberry pie-eating competition, as well as guided tours of the nearby Costa Berries farm. A curious mixture, but one that works ever so well.
