The Capital is an irreplaceable piece of Bendigo’s heritage that has been preserved and fully restored, and is now a dynamic spot for the most cultured and artistic night owls in Bendigo. Originally built as the Sandhurst Masonic Hall in 1873, it was reopened as a performing arts complex in 1991, and now hosts some of the best live music, theatre, dance and comedy in the area. The Box Office is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, and the upstairs Shades Bar opens one hour before all performances.
