The Central Deborah Gold Mine is the perfect combination of entertainment and education, and is a fabulous day out for families of all ages. You’ll likely spend the whole day exploring the extensive network of underground tunnels (nine levels in total!) to find out how an authentic gold mine worked during the boom years of the gold rush. So don a hard hat and see what life as a miner was like for yourself! Open daily from 9:30am to 4:30pm, with guided tours to lower levels at specific times during the day.
